Etienne Sauzet's wines are among the most exciting and consistent in Burgundy. A classically lean, elegant Puligny, with a fantastic nose of acacia blossom, pears, pineapple and spice. Medium-bodied, fat and opulent, minerals, apples and white flowers can all be found in its lively, rich character. Very clean, delineated fruit and a long, long finish, it spans the gap between 'traditional' white Burgundy and the new world.
