Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah or Shiraz

Origin
Due to its excellent southern position, embedded in a picturesque valley close to the river Durance, Château Pigoudet benefits from sunshine all year round. The wine has been made using the saignée method.
Taste
Super-light and the colour of bright pink petals, the nose boasts red apples and ripe cherries. Fresh and elegant, this aromatic rosé lingers on a beautiful finish.

    Outstanding

OK. I have been drinking rose de Provence since about 1973, when I paid one franc a litre. This is a modern, dry, pale wine which is absolutely fantastic. Right up there with the overpriced Domaine Ott. If you want a wine to make you think of those amazing pine scented Provence summers, then you will not do better.

    La Chappelle Rose

Brilliant, enjoying each bottle. Have also sent my daughter in Molesey 12 bottles and my daughter in law in St Albans 12 bottles, they love it!! Best Rose ever

    A pleasant surprise

I'm not usually a big fan of Rose, but my wife is, and when she poured me a glass of this I was pleasantly surprised. A lovely aperitif wine, not too dissimilar to an off-dry Riesling or a floral Viognier.

    Great wine!

Especially I liked the fine aromes of cherries and red berries. Would recommend the wine and will surely buy again.

  • "My kind of rosé — roughly two thirds syrah to one third cabernet, picked cool very early in the morning — whose pale rose-pink hue leads on to delicious dry, floral, herby, faintly raspberry-scented fruit. A gem."
