Grown on a range of granitic and colluvial soils in the Apalta region of Chile's Colchagua Valley. The vineyards are also among the highest and steepest vineyards in the area.

Chateau Musar 2003/2004

Concentrated and rich with plums, liquorice and spice. Musar is a fabulously different wine, very powerful but with plenty of finesse.

Afincado Cabernet Sauvignon 2005/2006 Terrazas de los Andes

A Cabernet Sauvignon of astonishing ripeness and intensity, coupled with a delicacy of texture. Has great ageing potential, yet is enjoyable now.

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

While still young this wine has the lush smoothness of Napa and can be drunk now or cellared for another decade. On the palate it has rich berry fruits with a fine texture from velvety tannins and balanced acidity.

L'Aventure Estate Cuvée 2007 Paso Robles

Fullbodied with abundant notes of creme de cassis, blackberries, smoke, graphite, and charcoal, this dense, layered, beautifully textured effort will benefit from another 1-2 years of bottle age, and should drink well for 10-15+ years. 95 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.
