This leading Margaux Cru Bourgeois property produced a fantastic wine in the superb 2000 vintage. We bought this large parcel direct from the Château where it has been maturing since conception. With a complex nose of blackberry, cigar box and violets the palate is ripe and silky with terrific integration of fruit, structure and wood and a long length. With a lovely depth of flavour and drinking beautifully now, it will keep for a further 6-8 years.
