Grape

Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Syrah or Shiraz

Origin
An interesting blend dominated by 70% of Argentina's signature Malbec. Spice and cassis fruit come to the blend with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and the dark-skinned Tannat. Amalaya de Colomé are one of the oldest producers in Argentina, formed in 1831.
Taste
Deep ruby with purple tinges, red cherries and cassis are key components to this wine, as well as the usual dark fruit characteristics of Malbec. Careful use of oak adds vanilla and spice.
Enjoy
Enjoy with steak pie, or rich, spicy casseroles. Also a perfect wine with summer barbecues.

    Delicious all rounder

A great red, not too heavy, not too light, but with guts! One for a friday night! Recommended!

    Very good value

Not quite as good as the Vinalba but very good value and pretty potent. Keeps ok overnight Would suggest too strong for weekday drinking

    Argentina At Its Best

Fabulous wine at the offer price - especially if you like your reds big, bold and full of flavour.

    Nice food wine

Nice claret-style nose, swwet fruit but balanced with good tannins, drink now with food.
