A bright ruby red wine, with a sweetly expressive nose of red fruit, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Fine and plentiful tannins and juicy black fruit add up to a friendly and enjoyable palate.

Château de Brens 1996 St-Emilion Grand Cru

A mahogany tinged colour and complex nose of spiced plums, aged leather and woody cigar box aromas gives away the wine's maturity. Full-textured and long, with enduring savoury flavours.

Château Greysac 2006 Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

An excellent value Cru Bourgeois wine, offering plenty of classic Médoc flavours of cassis, black cherry and plum fruits, balanced by hints of vanilla and spice.

Château Labégorce 2002 Margaux

A mature, medium-full bodied claret, with the classic Margaux hallmarks of dark crimson fruit overlayed with savoury, earthy flavours. Dry tannins are matched by taut acidity.

RM Nicholson 2009 Rustenberg, Stellenbosch

This wine was named in honour of one of the estate's former owners, Reg Merriman Nicholson, who lived and worked as winemaker at Rustenberg for 30 years, the wine has rich fruit flavours and bold tannins.

Château Trimoulet 2006 St-Emilion Grand Cru

A rich, deep ruby purple wine with a powerful bouquet of ripe blackberry fruit surrounded by subtle oak. A smooth palate attack, leading into a fleshy, well-balanced mouth-feel. Best served with roast leg of lamb, pheasant or rich terrines.

Château La Vieille Croix 2005 Fronsac

Solid tannins with generous raspberry fruit and a noticeable herbal quality result in a complex yet delicious wine.

BriO de Cantenac Brown 2007 Margaux

Elegantly structured claret, with aromas of pencil lead and sandalwood, and a bramble backbone. A good level of ripeness, medium body, and tannins of a firm, taut character.

Pauillac 2008 Ulysse Cazabonne

A typically Cabernet-heavy blend, this is a robust, firm and well-textured middleweight claret. Powerful blackcurrant characters predominate, while leather and cedar notes add aromatic depth.

Château Potensac 1997 Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

It boasts a terrific fruit intensity and purity, as well as moderate tannin in the medium-bodied, impressively rich finish. This wine should drink well between 2002-2014. Robert Parker.
