From one of the very best premier cru vineyards this is a classic steely dry Chablis with a little more richness than usual due to the excellence of the vintage. The Pinson family continue to produce excellent wines that can age 4-5 years.

Caixas Albariño 2011 Martín Códax, Rías Baixas

A light, fresh and youthful wine, with a zesty and well defined citrus backbone, overlayed with subtle hints of stone fruits and nectar. Crisp and refreshing, yet rounded and enduring on the finish. Drink with mussels and other shellfish, or all simple fish dishes such as grilled sardines.
