A small grower with an excellent reputation, especially so in regard to his Grand Cru holdings. This superlative wine offers a rich nose, a well balanced palate and plenty of depth and grip.

Penfolds' quest to create an Australian rival to the top white Burgundies has culminated in this stunningly complex Chardonnay, sourced from select vineyards across Tasmania, Adelaide Hills and Henty.

Sancerre 'Les Romains' 2009/2010 Vacheron

Now made in a more classic style and matured in old oak foudres rather than barriques this is about as intense and powerful as Sauvignon Blanc gets.

Saarburger Rausch Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel 2007 Zilliken Saar

Exuberant on the nose, yet refined, this has notes of yellow plum and raisin, as well as a touch of caramel. On the palate, there are notes of grapefruit citrus and greengage fruit, as well as the more complex notes found in great botrytised wines.
