Additional information:

  • A bottle of Château Mont Milan Blanc 2010/2011 Corbières - Majestic Wine

3 x Château Mont Milan Blanc 2010/2011 Corbières

Corbières covers a large area of around 12,000 hectares, with a diverse range of microclimates in the varied terrain of the Pyrenean foothills enabling cultivation of a wide range of mainly red grapes, although a tiny proportion of whites such as this are also made. Held between 15 and 18 degrees throughout fermentation, this wine has a soft, bright, tropical and stone fruit character, while at the same time offering a fresh crispness. A great wine for creamy pasta salads, risottos and poultry dishes.

  • A bottle of Muscadet 2010/2011 Cuvée des Croix Blanches - Majestic Wine

3 x Muscadet 2010/2011 Cuvée des Croix Blanches

Muscadet comes from the Loire Valley, in the area around the city of Nantes, where the Melon de Bourgogne grape found its spiritual home back in the 17th century, far from its origins in Burgundy. This example is aged for 3 months on its lees for texture and complexity. Bright, clear, with yellow and green reflections. A light citrus character on the nose, with faintly floral touches. The palate is crisp and clean, with a fine texture and subtle spritz. Make this your default seafood wine! Oysters, white fish or prawns make the perfect match.

  • A bottle of Robertson Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2011 Robertson - Majestic Wine

3 x Robertson Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2011 Robertson

A fresh, dry and intensely fruity varietal Sauvignon Blanc. Robertson Valley is situated further inland than most in South Africa, where the daytime climate is hot and dry, but the nights are cool. These growing conditions enhance the zesty gooseberry flavours so common in Sauvignon Blanc.

  • A bottle of Luis Felipe Edwards Mountain View Chardonnay 2011 Central Valley - Majestic Wine

3 x Luis Felipe Edwards Mountain View Chardonnay 2011 Central Valley

Luis Felipe Edwards's estate includes some of the highest altitude sites in the Colchagua, Maule and Leyda valleys, providing them with a sound base for creating crisp white wines. This is a fruit-focused Chardonnay enhanced by brief ageing on its lees rather than oak. Fresh and clean, with the typical apple and citrus fruit giving way to a softer, peachier, almost tropical flavour. Refreshing and easy to drink, with a soft-edged acidic lift. A great all-rounder and party white. Partners well with chicken, but just as good to drink on its own.
