Bottled exclusively for Majestic, this superb quality Sauvignon is sourced from a number of prime vineyard sites in Marlborough's Wairau Valley, where the cool maritime climate provided by the South Pacific produces wines with the region's characteristic fruit intensity.
Taste
Quintessentially Marlborough, with a verdant herbaceous character on the nose, and an intense palate of gooseberry and citrus, and subtle passion fruit touches.
Enjoy
Matches well with poached fish and creamy goats cheeses.

    A nice drop

    I enjoyed this, as did the half a dozen others who shared a couple of bottles with me. On deal at 7.99 this is good value.

    Disappointing

    Have to agree with cellar dweller - overpriced for a pretty average, UK-bottled Marlborough SB. The corresponding Pinot Noir is much better value.

    sour grapes

    Bone dry grass and lemon, but no back notes and no length...feel somewhat cheated in view of the price.
