much smoother than most sauvignon blancs,great value at the two bottle price,if you want to pay a little more for a superb macon try the Louis Latour macon lugny - very special.

Really good Macon Village.

Smooth and it lingers awhile longer than most at this price. Re-ordered for Christmas. Hope it lasts until then!

Great value

Alan - it would be smoother than most sauvignon blancs becuase it's a chardonnay! Meanwhile, back to the wine, typical macon characteristics but with surprising body and length - good full mouthful and at the price great value for everyday drinking. Will definitely buy more!

Very nice at the price

This is very good value and better than most other white wines at this price point. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is better than the Louis Latour Macon Lugny, mainly because it has a longer finish. Not that the Latour is bad, because it is excellent, only this wine has that little bit extra.
