Viré-Clessé is a white only appellation in the Mâconnais that forbids residual sugar in the wines. The wines are characteristically crisp, mineral and citrussy.
Taste
Exudes fresh and delicate aromatics of tropical fruits on the nose, which give way to subtle minerality on the palate and intense flavours of fresh stone fruit.
Enjoy
Serve with pan-fried St-Jacques scallops.

    A fresh and very approachable chardonnay

    I like this wine on its own on a warm late afternoon. For sure it is dry but it has a lot of friuit which balances the acidity.It is at a good price as well.
