  Good for the price

  I brought this to try as I do like the Martel house and have had some good tasting times there. I was not disappointed it is a great champagne for the price and great to drink.

  Refreshing

  I would say that this champagne is definitely towards the sweet end of the taste scale, not the dry end as publicised. However it is very fruity so maybe this makes it appear sweet to the palette. I think that if it is chilled right down to blunt the sweetness it makes an excellent pre-dinner quaffing champagne. At the offer price it is an amazingly good buy. I almost gave it four stars but left it at three based on taste without price consideration. Try it, but leave some foe me!
