This wine comes from what is widely considered the best vineyard in Beaujolais and the very talented Christophe Cordier. It has a real Burgundian feel with a finesse and sheen normally found in the best reds of the Côte de Nuits. The nose reveals layers of black cherry, raspberry and vanilla and the palate has lovely integration of fruit and structure with a long juicy finish. Try it with chicken, meaty white fish or cold meats.
