    Sugar?

What tosh, there is very little residual sugar in this wine, taste it with the tip of your tongue only for proof. A decent value, basic NZSB

    fair-leigh awful

New Zealand sauvignon at its worst. Sweet with a nasty after taste. Save your palate and buy the Lawsons, this is truly sub standard fair....

    Not another one!

tasted in store 3/5. So boring. Overstretched, over sweet. Do yourself a favour and taste a decent wine alongside this (Jackson estate, Ara composite, St Clair).

    Excellent

Amongst my favourite tipples. Goes very well with both fish and white meats alike.

Consistently good value NZ sauvignon blanc

I have been drinking this wine for about three years and always enjoy it as have my friends. It is one of the best value sub £10 wines of this type; it is fresh and an enjoyable wine to drink on its own, or with fish or spicy food.

  • "Classic clean, grassy, gooseberry fruit New Zealand sauvignon, at a more-than-fair price, Bottles with a picnic-friendly screwcap."

  • "Impossible not to have one good Marlborough Kiwi sauvignon in any summer line-up, so ridiculously popular is this wine style with British drinkers. This sweet, bold, mouthwatering nettle and tropical fruit-stashed ’09 from the Wither Hills stable gets my vote. Best served cool as a summer apéritif or with powerfully verdant summer dishes, such as watercress soup and grilled asparagus."
