Origin
Peter Lehmann, known as the 'Baron of Barossa,' selects this classic Shiraz from some of the best vineyards in the region, some of which remain ungrafted due to an absence of phylloxera. Ageing in French and American oak for 12 months occurs before bottling.
Taste
Plenty of flesh and spice on the palate, with concentrated blackcurrant and bramble fruit as well as hints of mocha and dark chocolate. Full bodied and rich, a classic Aussie Shiraz.
Enjoy
A great partner for beef and richly flavoured, peppery meat dishes, drink this over the next couple of years for maximum pleasure.

    Full on

    Probably needs food because the 1st attack is so strong but this wine has full flavour and can easily match strong food tastes. Great value

    Delicious

    I absolutely love this wine, it's rich, medium to full bodied and tastes divine. Works very well with meats, I tried it out at a dinner party and everyone commented on how good it was. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

    Excellent & Recommend

    Used to purchase this wine from Tesco untill they ceased stocking, then found again at Sainsbury's and they stopped. Located the wine on Majestic, ordered on the Friday afternnon, the wine was delivered on the Monday, superb. Lovely full bodied red, smooth and fruity and right for almost any meal!! Will be returning to re-order when this stock has been enjoyed.

    Not unreasonable

    Overpriced at £10.50 - adequate at £8.40 but not good enough to buy again. Have tasted better from Peter Lehmann in the past .
