Grape

Sauvignon Blanc

Origin
Established as recently as 1994, Wither Hills has since become one of Marlborough's best-known wineries. Now owning vineyards spread right across the region, this Sauvignon is blended from a range of parcels, to provide a snapshot of the Marlborough region as a whole.
Taste
Alive with the intense aromas of gooseberry, guava and passionfruit. The palate is well balanced with mouth watering acidity and grapefruit flavours leading into a long finish of remarkable intensity.
Enjoy
Superb with goat's cheese, as well as fresh oysters.

    Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc

An excellent, beautifully flavoured and reasonably priced wine.

We have been buying this wine for a number of years and it has been consistently our favourite Sauvignon Blanc. It has the characteristic gooseberry undertone and more depth and zing than other sauvignon blancs of comparable price.

    A decent table wine

This is a perfectly decent daily table wine but I don't think it's as good value as the Fairleigh Estate SB for £1 more.

    Excellent crisp zingy wine

First discovered this wine when touring NZ and now always look for it here. It is expensive so I tend to stock up when there are good deals on.

Best Sauvignon around at this price

We keep coming back to this one. First tasted it in a Restaurant 7-8 years ago and loved it then at £20 a bottle. At today's prices it is fantastic value. Have just ordered stock for the summer as am sure it can never be this reasonable again.
