"This distinctive South African blend differs only from that found in Bordeaux by the addition of the Pinotage grape, 44% of which contributes to the final wine. Whilst the classic Bordeaux nose of Cassis and plum are apparent, the Pinotage adds a silky mouthfeel and some rich yet smooth red cherry notes. This is given backbone and structure on the palate from 14 months ageing in French oak barriques."
