Majestic offers free glass loan for customers purchasing wine from us. When ordering, the equivalent of £1 per glass breakage deposit is added to your order.

This deposit will be refunded when you return the glasses to us. You'll need to take them to the Majestic store that delivered them (or that you collected from) - unfortunately we are not able to offer a collection service for glasses. If paying the deposit by debit or credit card you will need to bring the card with you when returning the glasses.

All we ask is that the glasses are returned to us clean and ready to re-use - the good news is they are dishwasher-safe so there's no need to wash them all by hand! A deduction of £1 per glass will be made to cover any breakages or losses.

Glass loan is subject to availability and, in the case of large glass loan requests, is at the discretion of the store manager.

Majestic offers free chiller bin loan for customers purchasing wine from us. Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.

When ordering, £15 per bin deposit is added to your order. This deposit will be refunded when you return the bins to us, clean and ready to re-use. You'll need to take them to the Majestic store that delivered them (or that you collected from) - unfortunately we are not able to offer a collection service for chiller bins. If paying the deposit by debit or credit card you will need to bring the card with you when returning the bins.

If you'd like us to deliver ice with your order, enter the number of chiller bins you need ice for where indicated. If you need ice for drinks enter the number of small bags (2kg - 4kg) you require.

The website calculates the price of ice as £10.50 per bin or £3.50 per bag, but as ice prices and bag sizes vary across the country your eventual charge may be less than this.

Unfortunately ice is non-returnable. Chiller bin loan and ice are subject to local availability.

Majestic offers completely FREE delivery of a mixed dozen of wine anywhere in mainland UK.

When you order, we send the details to the store closest to your delivery address. They will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the order, and arrange the specific delivery details. We can turn around most orders within a day or two, although for addresses further from the store this may be longer (an absolute maximum of 7 days).

If you have specific delivery requirements, use the 'Additional Information' box on the delivery details page to enter a message for the store team and they'll do everything they can to accommodate you.

Unfortunately we don't have stores everywhere and there are some locations just too far away for us to deliver using store-based vans. That's where our Mail Order team come in, dispatching wines via courier across the UK. Customers in mainland UK still benefit from FREE delivery, and for customers in Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly we charge £7.50 per case. Our experienced team use special packaging to avoid breakages, and can deliver our full range of wines, Champagnes and spirits (but unfortunately not beer, soft drinks or accessories).

Our online-only Gift Solutions service offers gift packs with rapid delivery by courier and your choice of delivery date. Since they're sold independently of our usual 12-bottle online minimum purchase delivery is not free, although a postage and packaging charge is incorporated into the price of each pack.

However, delivery to some areas of the country requires an additional charge per gift and/or lead time:

• Scottish Highlands & Isles of Scilly - 1 extra working day for delivery
• Northern Ireland - £10 per gift surcharge, 1 extra working day for delivery
• Scottish Islands & Isle of Man - £23 per gift surcharge, 2 extra working days for delivery

Wines available en primeur are sold on a 'futures' basis before being bottled. The wine is shipped up to two years after purchase when the bottled wines are released. At this point it can either be delivered into a special 'in bond' storage account (a customs controlled warehouse where wines are stored without taxes having been paid on them), or directly to the customer, in which case a second 'release payment' to cover duty, VAT and handling costs are paid at the time of shipping.
